PDU Preventive Maintenance Service
PDU Preventive Maintenance Programs -- Critical Systems Services customizes your PM program to exactly meet your needs, from once a year to once a week, CSSI will work to ensure you get the most value from your critical power equipment and our service program.
On-Line Services Includes
• Perform a temperature scan on all breakers, power connections, fuses and associated controls.
• Repair and/or report all abnormal readings.
• Perform a complete visual inspection of the equipment including subassemblies, wiring harnesses, contacts, cables, and major components.
• Inspect the control cabinet for accumulations dust and/or debris. Clean as required.
• Record all voltage and current meter readings on the meter panel.
• Measure and record all current readings at the input and the output of unit.
• Verify that all front panel meter readings are correct. Calibrate if required.
• Verify that the indicator lamps are working.
• Verify auto and manual restart selection.
Off-Line Services Include
• With customer’s permission, open the input circuit breaker to the PDU. (Note: This will remove all power to the load).
• Physically check all nuts, bolts, screws and connectors for tightness and heat discoloration.
• Physically check control wires, ribbons, and connectors for correct and secure installation.
• Measure and record all low-voltage power supply levels.
• Verify that all branch circuit breakers are installed correctly and are secure.
• Remove dust from circuit cards and other sensitive components.
• After completion of the preventive maintenance routine, verify that all branch breakers are closed and ready for re-energizing.
• Before closing the input circuit breaker of the PDU, verify that UPS is in bypassmode.
• Review system performance with customer to address any questions.
Following the Preventive Maintenance Inspections, a written report will be provided detailing the results of the Inspection, and make specific recommendations toward future remedial action, or upgrades.
